This introductory course is an effective way for executives and managers to build a solid foundation in financial management. The purpose of this course is to familiarize participants with the essential techniques and perspectives needed to make sound financial decisions. In addition, they will be able to communicate with financial practitioners with more confidence.
This one-month online module combines synchronous delivery, i.e., online learning in real time, with asynchronous delivery, which allows the participants to learn at their convenience (self-paced learning). Participants will need a laptop/PC with Internet access and Microsoft Excel. Slide presentations will be supplemented with notes, cases and discussion questions. Successful completion of the program leads to the FGCU Fundamentals of Financial Management certificate. |
